kapo is physically far superior to rubi, quicker and stronger, i jus hope rubi has the south amercan flair to compensate.
    Oh trust me he does:cool:

he's really creative with the ball and can play as a playmaker well.also he's very confident and even slightly arrogant on the ball, which is nice to see once in a while.

i hope capello's way with youngsters works wonders with the guy, given a decent run in the first team i'm sure he'd flourish.

it will be nice to see the attacking addition of Kapo and Olivera in a boring defensive midfield (except Neddy).

He played well yesterday from what I hear. Hopefully he will play more often even when Nedved returns becuase he can actually create attacks.

Or maybe we should just stop hyping up every "underddog" player we see once on tv.
It's not exactly us that hyped up Olivera you know. When we signed him he was said to be a gem of a young player and one of the most promising talents in South America. We beat Real Madrid to sign him and that IMO says something. According to people who have been lucky enough to watch our pre-season games Olivera has been impressive and he was good last night against Djurgarden. The guy obviously has talent and unlike most of our midfielders he's creative so we should be glad that we have him.

We'll just have to wait and see. He's at that young age where development is so crucial, and the coming years will either make or break him. If he does turn out to be a good player hopefully he doesn't play well twice every five games ala Camoranesi.

maybe capello will take the chance of playing both kapo and olivera in midfield. if moggi can concentrate on fixing the defence, that means bringing in cannavaro, oddo and one more player like Bonera because i think iuliano and tudor may leave before the season starts, then it builds a solid defence.

having a solid defence allows the likes of kapo and olivera to both start instead of having to play emerson as well as blasi and even tacchinardi.

ideally, a line up as such would be nice to have.

    --------------buffon

    oddo--thuram--cannavaro--zambrotta

    ----------------emerson

    ----nedved----------------kapo

    -----------------olivera

    --------trezeguet-----miccoli

have a 4 man midfield like a diamond.

And when you think about it, is 22 years of age still young? how many champion players were given a go at a young age and proved themselves? Del Piero, raul, beckham, ronaldo, scholes, giggs and many more. Look at ajax back in the early to mid 90's, they had young stars coming up each season and won the CL. so its i dont think its such a bad idea.
