They are two separated brands and they always fight about which one of them has the rights for the name Budweiser. The czech brand spend half of their earnings on court costs only about that name.

    Interesting topic ;)

Amazingly the same thing happened to me with Karl .. Last season I often used to wear Juve's jersey while watching a match only for Juve to draw or play badly .. so I decided no more wearing the jersey while watching the match .. what do u know, we won the Scudetto and reached the CL final :)

I also feel optimistic with certain TV commentators and pessimistic with others :undecide:

Before playing football I've got a small ritual myself .. I always kiss my young sister before going to a match .. I remember one time she wasn't there and didn't get to kiss here, so I played terribly!!

About the 'real' players, I remember Tacchi saying that they sat on the opposite side of the bench in the locker room when playing against Perugia after that tragic defeat that cost us the Scudetto title the year before ..

Another famous 'Superstition' is that the winners of the Berlusconi trophy never get to win the Scudetto .. but ofcourse we broke that 'curse' ..

Another superstition is that you should NEVER give up your number to another 'new' player or else you will be doomed .. it has happend to Montella when he gave-up his number 9 shirt to Batistuta, happened to Baggio when he gave the number 10 shirt to Seedorf, happened to Zamorano when he gave the number 9 shirt to Ronaldo, again Ronaldo cursed Morientes by taking his 9 Real Madrid shirt ;)

So you'll take her all over the world with you once you go pro? ;)

    dpforever,
    we got similar supersitions.:p.

Whenever I wear all black away-kit two seasons ago, we either loose or draw, i.e. Man U match, however, I realized that whenever I put my Barca River-plate style or Italian NT shirt prior to the match, we tend to do well. i.e. Real..

Some friends of mine have to wear shorts when watching a match... freaks! :D

I can't wear any of Juve's away shirts when they play. That's bad luck... I don't consider myself supersticious, but they always play bad when I wear one... so I stopped doing it of course.

Before playing a match I really don't have any rituals. The only thing I do is warm up alone. I gotta be focused, and that wont happen if some mofo is yacking in my ear during the warm up.
I also say hello to the ref and shake his hand, but that's just to make him like me and give me plenty of freekicks and penalties :D

During a match I talk alot of thrash... just to get my opponent pissed and make him screw up alot. Great trick, try it!

After the match, I shake the ref's hand again, and then some of the opponents and their coach too. Nothing supersticious there either. :)
    same here!!
Everytime i wear the black Juve Training Shirt, juve lose!
so i never wear it again.
The best kit to wear is the home kit.

    ........
Before games, like you Anders, I Warm up alone. I take two laps around the field (must be counter-clockwise).
When i start the game, i have to greet the Captain of the other team.(i dont piss them off like you Anders :p ).
I havn't made this a habit, but i always play best when i ate Subway for lunch that same day! :D

oh, i forgot that it was about before - PLAYING too :D
i usually have to check the goal myself, because we usually play on a field, not on a special terrain, and the goal = 2 sticks at 5 metters distance. so it has to be very well checked
oh, and i must wear my nedved - designed - by - myself t-shirt (if it's clean) :D

Doesn't Ronaldo wear number 11? :undecide:
You're correct .. Sorry, I was thinking of players who suddenly lost form due to 'giving' their shirt numbers and thought Morientes was one of them, but Ronaldo took the number 11 shirt and not 9 ;)

Just out of curiosity, is there anyone, beside me, who wears short-sleeve jersey over thin long-sleeve shirt?

You mean while playing ?? I never do that .. coz the weather is usually hot and it doesn't help .. I only wear the short-sleeve jersey over ma body ..
