Alexandre Martins and Reinaldo Pitta were held on charges of illegal remittance of public funds and will add to the continuing scandal that is rocking Brazilian football.
Also detained were executives Henry Rosenberg and Ronaldo Adler who are accused of opening accounts for the group through a consulting company.
Judge Lafredo Lisboa of the Federal Criminal Court in Rio de Janeiro heard the case after the men were accused by the ex-wife of a former associate.
