Andrea Romeo of Verona has been appointed referee for Juventus v Bologna on Wednesday. It’s the second time in a couple of months that Romeo has taken charge the Bianconeri – he was the official for the win over Parma in Week 1.
Wednesday’s match will be the 8th time Romeo has refereed Juventus. The other seven were all played in Turin, with the Bianconeri winning 4, drawing 1 and losing 2. One of the defeats was in fact against Bologna on 26 February 2011.
Marco Barbirati and Andrea Padovan have been named as Romeo’s assistants for the game at Juventus Stadium. Maurizio Viazzi will be the fourth official, while Domenico Celi and Carmine Russo will be the additional assistant referees.
