I have seen him play a couple of times i u-21. He was very good, MOTM in one of the matches. He is not a Verratti type of player, they compare him with Thiago Motta. I would say he is a Marchisio type of player. Very smart player in his defensive moves, but also a good technical player. The thing that stood out for me in the games I watched was his ability to win the ball, great tackles, and great grinta. That with his technical ability, good passer, he is good at most of the things but as I said, smartness, grinta, ability to win balls in a smart way stood out.
Di Marzio says he is the most talented player born 97 in italy, PSG, Liverpool, Chelsea wanted him. From what I read he has ben great for Pescara.

Maby the club dident want to lose a great prospect like we did with Verratti? Lets give the kid a chanse, this could be a great investment.

Btw he made his debut against ut at 17 years of age, did a really good job IMO.

Mandragora close to Juventus
By Football Italia staff

Rolando Mandragora is believed to be on the verge of a Juventus move, after the club met his agent.

The 18-year-old is owned by Genoa, but is currently on loan at Pescara in Serie B, and has been heavily linked with the Bianconeri.

This evening Sky is reporting that the Old Lady have held talks with the player’s agent, with Mandragora close to agreeing a five-year deal to move to Turin.

The youngster was also coveted by Paris Saint-Germain, who famously pipped Juventus and Napoli to Marco Verratti, but it seems Juve have made a decisive step, securing the player for a fee of €5m plus bonuses.

It’s not clear whether Mandragora will remain on loan with Pescara, or move to Turin immediately should the deal be completed.
