How did you get tickets for that sector? Did you need a tessera?
yes, and you have to be pretty quick once the open sale starts. i remember that the sale started on a certain friday at 18:00, we had our ticket by 18:20. next morning an other buddy wanted to buy a ticket, and the guest sector was already sold out.

tessera is easy to get, the club sent it in ~2 weeks.

no way Cuads is better b2b then Rodrigo. The kid is an absolute gem. Arturo was a complete midfielder. Rodrigo has all the tools to become even better player.
To become better than Arturo???

Rodrigo really needs to improve his offensive output and involvement first of all, otherwise he's really just a DM.

Arturo didn't become Arturo from the get-go. He came to Juve when he was 25ish already iirc.
And I don't think Rodrigo is just DM, we don't lack offensive weapons, we need someone to do dirty work. I mean combine Bentancur with Pirlo and Marchisio, instead of whoever plays alongside him these days, and he will shine. Not as much as prime Vidal, but prime Vidal is a force.
And on top of everything, I get the impression that the kid has a great head on his shoulders. That's a recipe for greatness and future captain.

I love Vidal, his prime was magnificent, there is no question about it. That being said, I see no department where Rodrigo cannot outbetter him, except maybe tats, drinking and playing for such a cunt-of-a-team as Barca.

Stamina, tackling, grinta, goalscoring? Just adding more goals to his game would be a huge plus.

Bentancur definitely has the talent to play at a very high level, that is obvious. At times in the past he drifted through games where he almost became a nothing player, and I didn't think he was going to make it, but he has discovered this attitude and worked out calcio to the extent where he looks to dominate.

Vidal scored 18 goals one year. Actually, I wonder how many years combined it would take our current midfield to reach that.

khedira once was a 9 goal player for us. pjanic scored 3 during the first couple of months this season. but yeah, prime vidal was obviously an other beast. most complete b2b i can remember.

bentancur's main strength is his calm on the ball, and his pass accuracy is great too, but when it comes to tackling, box presence, sheer power and long-term reliability, he's got a long way to go before nearing prime vidal. not taking away anything from him, current bentancur wouldn't start for our '15 team.

I haven't seen a CM like prime Vidal since prime Vidal, honestly.

He wouldn't start for sure. But I don't agree with tackling and power at all. I think it's Bentancur biggest strength, he is an amazing tackler already. Refs tend to call on his tackles, but he rarely misses, it just sometimes his clean tackles are still a bit urugyaian. In terms of strength he is getting there, he still has a kid body, but he put on some muscles on his 1.87m frame. And Vidal never was a brickhouse, it was his tenacity that made him great.

Vidal are leaps and bounds in his attacking output, and it quite possible Bentancur won't get there ever, especially in scoring. But I don't see why he can't output the same number of assists.

Who was better, Vidal or Davids?
Vidal hands down. Though I like Davids more.

davids was more aggressive and faster. vidal: better passing, much better box presence, more consistent. easy pick for me.

i loved both obviously. but vidal is a top3 ever juve midfielder for me, with nedved and zidane. too bad marotta didn't like drunkards and preferred the plusvalenza.
