I know he is young but so far he hasn’t shown any sort of potential to turn world class.

He has good stamina at the end of matches. If you start him instead of Khedira at least you can save a substitution for one of our benched attackers

He looks clueless at times though. He also gives away quite a lot of balls which is frustrating.

He's a decent player though, growing slowly but still.

Yesterday he was comfortably our best midfielder.

Pjanic and Bernardeschi were bad
Matuidi was awful.
Bentancur was good

He lost the ball more than Pjanic. His passing wasn't great either, he at least tried to move the ball more, which is nice, but in those attempts he gave away possession often.

Our midfield, as most of our team for the first 70 mins, was horrible. So, saying he was the best midfielder yesterday says very little about him.
