He has it all, technical ability, good passing but what I liked the most was how big and strong he is and how often he won the ball back. If he can stay consistent he's a massive star in the making.

He got skinned a couple times. He's a bit naive defensively around the box. The rest of his match was pretty much flawless however. Looks more athletic than he did at any point I've ever seen him.

Most importantly though, he seems very intelligent.

Great game when we signed him I thought he was more box to box midfielder but he has really impressed as regista maybe pjanic bentancur as midfield pair maybe tried

That's actually the one part of his game that's underdeveloped. Once he gets physically stronger he'll be unstoppable. He gets pushed off too easily right now imo but it's ok, he's still really young.

One of the few Juve players who impressed. Good ball winning and tidy distribution, although I would like to see him take more risks in attack (compare with Pjanic after the Bosnian came in, for example, or Marchisio's quick turns). Bentancur's two passes forward to Dybala in 1st half created half-chances for us though.

He wasn't perfect first half but did most things right in the second. Still reminds me of Zidane's style. Tall player, strong but has a bit of elegance about him, shifts the ball between his feet well and the little slide passes leaning back.

Allegri called it after the first training sessions that Bentancur could be the surprise of the season.

Seems like those Boca fans laughing at us signing him was a classic case of fans crapping on a player who left. Either that or he just looks better with better and more dominant teammates.

The real test for him would be in the big games, not so much where Juve have constant midfield domination of possession, but he looks to have the confidence and personality to take that kind of challenge on.

Believe me, Boca fans seriously believed he was shit.

Yep, they're that retarded.

What impressed me most was his decision making under pressure, rare to see youngsters with this well developed mental skills

His spins do look a bit like Zidane's. Of course the guy is no Zidane.
