Genoa can fuck off. We're very thin in midfield, especially if we continue to play with a midfield trio. An injury to Khedira, Pjanic, or Matuidi with Bentancur gone and Marchisio terminally injured means we only have the calamity, the disastrous abomination, the thing that calls itself a footballer as our only option :yuck: :inter:

Don't understand why he hasn't played more minutes this season. He has been impressive on the majority of times he has been given a chance.

Love how direct he his. He runs fast at defences, dives into tackles with tenacity and when he passes he fires the ball in hard an low to his teammates. He really brings the tempo up. When he matures he will learn to play more efficiently and will know how to control games better.

When he started games his passes was amateurish. It not only ruined our counter's, he gave away good counter's.
:agree:

He had a couple very good matches early in the season, notably against Viola and Olympiacos... and then had some real nightmares where he was really quite terrible. Atalanta, Lazio, Spal. He was truly awful 3 matches in a row, and a big part of why we dropped points in the first two and were in a struggle with Spal before he was subbed off.

Needs to be far more intelligent on the pitch, if he wants to feature regularly. Still very young, so there's a good chance he can come good over the next year or two.

The talent is abundant in this one but his reaction at times when he lost the ball was very casual. Just jogging back lazily.

Good cameo. Looked sharp defensively and did not make any errors. Should probably have started for Bernardeschi or Khedira, assuming Marchisio can no longer play.

Once again another positive showing from him.

Makes tackles and keeps the ball, two things we badly lacked.

Allegri's lack of faith in him could be a key factor in losing this tie. We were crying out for an extra mid for 80 mins and we didn't trust him.
