I bet if we offered some of our players kids to wenger, he would sell us rvp for free
straight swap Giovinco for RVP
Giovinco is worth 20M he is quite young and talented - He is basicly a perfect player for Arsenal. In time they might feel they got a bargain doing this swap.
RVP isnt getting any younger and wants to leave
I dont see Giovinco being in our starting 11.
The perfect deal for both teams IMO

BTW Am I the only one against the Lucio signing?

Well if RVP is worth 20M and Giovinco is worth 20M shouldnt it be a straight swap?
If you are talking quality wise I think Arsenal would turn Giovinco into a great player as they would make a much better use of his talent then us
I can see them making him into their superstar but I cant see Giovinco being that guy for us

If we go a few years forward I think Arsenal would be thrilled to have Giovinco for just 20M while RVP is not young and he could go for free next year so 20M isnt such a bad deal...

If they want the 20M in cash I guess we could always sell Giovinco for 20M. I dont see any problem selling him for that fee

Jewvinco is European ViceChampion. Who's Van Persie? Ah the dude that was taken out from his NT starting lineup by 15.9m coaches (out of 16m) in a poll @ his own country? :p :D That has to be the record for collecting votes in the history of the lowerland. Oh snap... it was Robben/Ban Dummel - 16.00m - same poll ;)

Take into account that he is free next season so he should be cheaper than his actual value
That is taken into account. He would be much, much more worth if he had a longer contract. Basically, RvP was the best CF in the worldthis season, and 30 M is not that much - even if he only has one year left of his contract. Furthermore, I think Arsenal would rather keep him another year than sell him for 20 M or less. He could potentially be the difference between Champions League football and Europa League football for them.

Don't forget that he's in his late 20s and how he had many injury problems (bar this season). Plus, more importantly, his contract runs out soon.
Yup. The first two factors will barely mean anything, but the last one is the vital one.. that just cuts his price in half. I reckon whoever wants him will still have to pay an amount of ~25m though, as there will be a few teams after him.

In a way, it's a bargain, if you're sure he won't commit to your club and walk away from Arsenal for free.

I will allways find it bizzare how posters say give away Gio he will turn out great for them, but not for us. Heard now for Inter, Napoli and now Arsenal. Such a funny logic. Plus randomly suggesting to trade him with anyone too.

And dont get this Arsenal hate, besides Wenger being Wenger as usual, plus so many of you underrate RVP its unreal, would be unreal signing for us, to say the least (and wont go for less then 25m me thinks). But we wont sign him sadly. Hope City sign a striker soon so we might turn out to be only option :p
