It's odd, though. You'd think a professional athlete would have ambition with regard to winning trophies. If he chooses to renew with Arsenal then obviously he's the wrong sort of player for Juventus. They will not win anything of note in the foreseeable future, despite the "future belonging to them." Juventus was always portended to return to winning something, though. Arsenal? Come on, lol. I dunno, but I always imagined the goal of a professional athlete was to win things, not just a big payday. Resigning with Arsenal shows a lack of ambition, not a love for the club.
