Think a specialist LWB looks more of a priority if we are sticking with a 3-5-2/3-4–2-1. Particularly with Chiellini the only option as the LCB due to Demiral looking awkward there, Bonucci needing to be the sweeper and De Ligt struggling as the LCB in a back 4 last season. Could give the the option of AS dropping into the LCB slot to cover Chiellini if necessary.
Can’t go a whole season relying on Frabotta to be the back up for a key position in the 3-4-2-1.

Jmm, interesting..

Sandro and DC for Pogba then we go for gozens and Chiesa you mean?
Juve get: Pogba on loan with obligation(15m)
Utd get: Sandro and DC

Juve get their midfield star, Utd get the LB and RW they need.

Salaries match as well.

We'll also throw in a 1st round pick 2023.

i like this player a lot.

last season he scored 9 goals + 8 assits in serie in 34 matches. now granted this is atalanta but still this is impressive for a wing back.

someone here compared him to lichtsteiner. i disagree. i think better comparison would be to dani alves due to his offensive talent.

The thing is, we will have maybe too many Midfielders:

Mc, rabiot, ramsey, Betan, Arthur, all of them fighting for a starting spot.....and you could even count Berna and Kulu depending on what Pirlo plans to do with them.

Someone will need to be sold.

Not if we're planning on playing 4-3-1-2.

Pogba - Benta - Rabiot
Ramsey

With McKennie and Arthur as reserves. If anything we'd need more midfielders.

This would be such a versatile midfield its crazy. All these guys can do everything, big, strong, can playmake and defend.

he's kind of an ugly guy to be honest this gosens

like we've fullfilled our ugly guy quota for the season by getting kulusevksi. so we need to sell someone before we get him.

hopefully costa or khedira leave soon to open hamsum spot

he scored and assisted a lot thanks to gasp's system. remember defenders scoring relatively high for him then creating shit with other teams, see caldara with his 7g, conti with a 8g5a season with atalanta/gasp. gosens is physical, good in the air, tireless runner, disciplined and dependable as most gasp players, good with possession play, but not too creative, and can't dribble too much either. he looks like a good system player to me, and the licht comparison is more fitting. i also want him for his physical attributes. sandro slowed down quite a bit throughout the years, and once his lolzillianness fully kicks in, he'll only be good vs the slow 2nd grade italian teams.

We need to know the Formation first.. but take into account this: Pirlo was damant to get a 9 for a reason..... this means he will try formations with someone around the box.

CR7 will never be benched...and Dybala as he is right now...cannot be benched either.

In summary, i have the feeling that Pirlo will not use much a line of 2 forwards witht he amount of attackers we have...because in a line of 2...the 9 or dybala need to be benched and any of those 2 benched is bad.

if you play with Treq, Dybala maybe could be benched If ramsey keeps this form because Ram is a natural Treq while dybala is a SS/ finisher.

I'm really upset there are no recent Juve links to him. I don't want to see him end up in a big club come January.
100%

we are not signing him.

look at how quickly juve signed kulu, arthur, mckennie, morata, de ligt, demiral. by the time youtubers had time to put their "welcome to juve vidoes" thoese players were signed.

juve doesnt do dragged out signings. so the fact that no links or scouts, or officials from out club are linked with him means thread should be closed

The Arthur saga lasted about a month.

The McKennie signing came out of nowhere and wasn’t linked to Juve by anyone.

The De Ligt deal was a gradual process that lasted for months.

Morata deal seemingly came together within 24 hours.

I don’t really see a pattern either way.

i do. the point is with all those deals there was real interest. solid real interest reported by major credible sources.

the other thing that a factor is that season is underway. i don't remember the last time we left signing so late and season had already started.

Hernanes is the only one i can think of.

i'd love to be wrong and this signing to happen.

Schalke fans.

another reason i think this won't happen is that we had the chance to conlude the deal with the romero to atalalnta deal going through.
schalke fans?? Lol what? Those are credible sources?

and we literally just got Morata yesterday. After the season started.

We also have open roster spots.
