From Padoin to Pereyra is a big difference, as we witnessed last year when we desperately required that quality backup mid and it seems that we are not wasting any money, since it is a loan deal. Pirlo, Vidal, Asamoah (now that Evra is supposedly arriving), Pogba, Marchisio, Marrone, Padoin. That's seven midfielders for you and Pereyra is the eighth. Next year we should make sure we reach 10 midfielders to have that incredible strong bench.

In reality there are only 4 and one of them is 35 yo. Asamoah only once played in the middle and it looks like he will be used as a LB as altenative to Evra, while the other two are not good enough. Pereyra can cover variety of positions, cm, am, lw, rw.
