One of the great players in history. Too bad he was unlucky and injury prone. Otherwise who knows. He carried that '94 Nazionale to the finals all by himself. During most of his time in Juve, Milan was the dominant team.

one of the best players to ever touch a ball imo, the guy was simply amazing and for me i was blessed to have seen him play for a long time.

shame he had to leave juve, would've been amazing if he stayed here.

Frey: Baggio changed my life
Saturday 19 August, 2006
Fiorentina goalkeeper Sebastien Frey believes his recovery from a serious injury was all thanks to Roberto Baggio’s Buddhist teachings.

“My life has changed,” commented the shot-stopper. “I am happy and relaxed. I owe all of that to Baggio.”

Frey snapped ligaments in his left knee during a Coppa Italia game against Juventus in January and is only now starting to get back to fitness, but he hasn’t let that get him down.

“I am stronger than I was before the injury,” insisted the Frenchman. “My life is going through many changes. It’s thanks to Baggio and his advice that I went to the Buddhist centre in Florence. It was an experience I intend to continue, as today I feel stronger because I am more relaxed and convinced of myself.”

Baggio famously turned to Buddhism in Florence after a career-threatening knee injury when he was only 18 years old and he is one of 30,000 Italians practising the religion today.

“I was very tense after suffering that injury and had a real crisis in my life,” continued former Parma and Inter goalkeeper Frey.

“That was when Roberto advised me to go to the centre a month ago. He said it had also happened to him and explained how much it helped him on the road to recovery.”

Juventus should be proud that they have had Baggio wearing their colors, but ashamed for dispossing him the way they did.

Now what were we supposed to do man?

Del Piero was too good (irresistable), The Old Lady did the right thing at the time IMO :agree:
