failed to score against city resulting in a home draw, on numerous occasions
One game to rule them all.

Actually got 2 goals vs Mainz and now he leads Bundesliga with 9 goals alongside 2 other players.
You're right. I checked livescore just after the game and Reus was listed as a goal scorer, but now i see that Bundesliga website says Robert scored.
It's impossible to see on yt videos if he touched it though :p

Yeah there's some controversy in German media about who scored that goal, but officially it is Lewandowski and he himself says that he touched the ball. That would make it 9 goals in 12 games in Bundesliga and 4 goals in 5 games in CL.

Good thing we have Matri though.

i really don't see players from dortmund coming here. makes no sense.
    This.

Dortmund is going to be on the top of upward curve next year IMO. They'll do great in both Champions and Bundes, as if they weren't doin' it last 2 seasons, it makes no sense for this players to leave right now. Most of their players are young and underrated.

Next year Champions League final: Juventus vs Borussia Dortmund :smoke:

Lewandowski only has 1,5 years of his contract left though and he is not really willing to sign a new one. They may be forced to sell him in the summer or lose him for nothing 1 year later.

Honestly I don't know what is the financial situation of Dortmund but if they don't have some multibillionair owner I imagine when the right money comes for their best players, they will sell.

I don't think he'll interest PSG. No need to go for Lewandowski if you can acquire Falcao/Cavani.

I wish it would happen but I just can't see BVB selling him to us, they don't need the money, are likely to go far in the CL and play in a better league.
I really think the BVB would be the least problematic part here.

Marotta paying money and Lewandowski actually wanting to go to Italy would be much bigger issues.

Gotze has a 35 mill release clause. I bet Real get on that.

Dortmund have a policy to sell if a good offer comes through because they are confident that they can get another guy to step in. And they are straight up German and run their club like a (good) business. that's why they went from being practically bankrupt to one of the healthier clubs in the world in the space of less than a decade.

Whether Trollotta will provide a good offer is an entirely different matter, though.
