Actually I heard something like that from another source, so it might have some truth in it. Barzagli please!

About the same last year we signed kapo..

He is replacing Ferrera, who is retiring, don't worry I'm sure Moggi has lined up someone better and younger for next season.

Talks about a contract extention are off between Bayern and Kovac because he asks for too much and is pressured by Juve's interest. "Bon voyage", said Bayern GM. :D

He played very well yesterday in the CL agaisnt Arsenal, so di Van Bommel(free) against Monaco. :D

I think as a back up he might be ok, better than Montero and Ferrara will retire after this season! he has also much experience and is for free.

but i hope that we also bring in young defenders!

Some info and pic of Robert Kovac.

Name: Robert Kovac
Date of birth: 06.04.1974
Country: Croatia(German passport)
Position: Defender(left center back)

Great header and anticipation. Would be an excellent backup IMO. He's a Montero type player.

______________________________________________

Actions speak louder than words for Robert Kovac, one of the quiet men of football who single-mindedly gets on with the job at hand, unspectacular but consistently effective at centre-half. The Croatia regular has yet to score for Bayern, but that is after all someone else's job, whereas he is tasked with preventing goals and shutting out dangerous opponents. And you probably won't get a quote out of the defender after a match, so the best bet is to consult the match statistics. Kovac frequently tops the rankings for tackles won – and most of the time, the man he was marking has failed to score.

I like the way you think. ;)

I personnaly think that Barzagli is almost a done deal. We'll give PAlermo our other half of Miccoli and loan them players like Behrami.

I say bring in Barzagli, Robert Kovac, Mark Van Bommel, Maxwell, and Adrian Mutu (already here). That right there should be a cheap and economical transfer plan for this summer.

The more I think about Van Bommel the more I want to take him to Turin. He would surely be an upgrade to Blasi in midfield, even though Mark is not the quickest of players. I mean he's free so there is not much to lose except our dignity.

Imagine ;) (ok, dont complain about my formations) :p

-----Zlatan-Trez-Mutu
----Nedved-Emerson-Camo
Chiellini-Canna-Thuram-Zambro
-----------Buffon

Backup:
-Nedved = Van Bommel
-Thuram/Canna = Barzagli, Kovac, Tudor
-Emerson = Blasi, Essien
-Chiellini/Zambro = Pessotto, Zebina
-Buffon = Bonnefoi?
and we have del Piero

Actually I see something like this instead:

Buffon

Zebina - Thuram - Cannavaro - Zambrotta

Camoranesi - Emerson - Van Bommel - Nedved

Ibrahimovic - Trezeguet
