Half-time at Skopje
FYROM - Finland
0-2
2x Eremenko jr.

It's 7 goals in these qualifiers for him if I'm not completely mistaken.

Hail Lecce #10 \o/

...more booze now...

Yobo is not his usual self today. Seems that he has lost confidence after that display against ManU

Half time. 0-1. Taribo is providing good cover for the shaky Yobo. I'd have felt better about the performance if we were playing not Libya (or the likes of them)!

    Elsewhere...

GOAL TO DENMARK! CALAMITY JAMES! It came from a Beckham free-kick..a quick throw out from Sorensen..a ball over the top from Kahlenberg and Tomasson is running onto it...JAMES COMES RUNNING OUT, MISSES THE BALL...COLE MAKES A DIVING BLOCK TO AVERT TOMASSON...but Tomasson is back up and quickly plays the ball across to Rommedahl, who has an easy tap-in! 1-0 to Denmark and Eriksson will be furious!!

Taribo West? My man...I used to love that Nigerian team of the 96 Olympics, and I believe France 98 (didn't they play then?).

Still sporting that green ribbon in his braids? :D

    Half time analysis:

    1. The grass is a litte too green for me. I'll blame a loss on that.
    2. We played well so far but could do with more cohesion which will come from playing together over time. Some moves could've been executed better. We could've scored more.
    3. West hasn't looked bad. Need to see more to come to a verdict.
    4. Martins delivers again like Dominos pizza.
    5. I want to see what the coaches do in the 2nd half.
    6. Apparently, we now have "technical acumen". However, what that means is not clear at this time.
    7. We'll only win this by finishing with more goals than Libya.

No green ribbon in friendlies for West

So make it 3-0 to Finland. Paulus Roiha this time.
Oh, Shefki 'The Kosovan Bull' got yet another chance (he obviously missed).

2nd half started, no changes for Nigeria...

Freekick to Libya outside the 18...

    Wasted, Nigeria break...

    Kanu wastes it.

Freekick to Nigeria 30 yards from goal...

Taiwo should take it, no Kanu wanted to. :yuck:

    Libya break...

Eguavoen (new coach) we've seen enough. Make changes let's see what some of the first timers (Obi and Kaita) can do...

    The Libyans waste their chance!
