I saw the Romania game and Mutu was superb. Four goals in his last two games for Romania. Surely his form merits first team football at Juventus, it'll be interesting to see what Capello does against Empoli next weekend.

Dynamo Kiev defensive midfield star Yusuf Ayila will start for the Super Eagles in Sunday’s World Cup crunch tie against Algeria in Oran.
This will be Ayila’s first start and second appearance for the Eagles after he made his debut as a late substitute against Gabon in Port Harcourt. He has been preferred to Wolves ace Seyi Olofinjana, who has struggled with his form for country of late.
The midfield will also parade Olympique Marseille ace Wilson Oruma, Christian Obodo and John Utaka, who has recovered in time to launch attacks for the Eagles from the right side of midfield.
While childhood friends Obafemi Martins and Ayodele Makinwa are expected to start the hunt for goals for the Eagles in this very crucial encounter.
There are no surprises in the Eagles defence though as the central defence pairing of Joseph Yobo and Joseph Enakarhire returns to be supported by goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and fullbacks Taye Taiwo and Chidi Odiah.

Yobo will stand in as skipper as he did against Angola in Luanda last year.

    THE LINEUP:

ENYEAMA – ODIAH, TAYE TAIWO, YOBO (CAPTAIN) ENAKARHIRE –

UTAKA, AYINLA, ORUMA, OBODO – MARTINS, MAKINWA

So at half time Zimbabwe is leading Rwanda 2-1, which confirms what we all knew, the Rwandans are out of all tournaments. Makes it hard for Nigeria should we win and Angola win as well...

Because Angola have Rwanda next, while we have Zimbabwe. Those will be the last matches of the series...

The only ray of hope is this: we are playing Algeria later today (Algeria are out of it all), while Gabon are still in with a shout and they are playing Angola now. Gabon play Algeria next, so if they get points off the Angolans, they have their destiny in their own hands...

8th mintue: There appears to be a handball by an Angolan in his own area and the Gabonese claim a penalty but the referee waves play on.

    Shyte...!

OMG, you're not going to do a minute to minute commentary, are you? :sigh:
Not for this one. I am listening to the commentary on radio, and the commentary is in Hausa. I am slow at interpreting...
