Klose is not only the best aerial striker, he's also the quickest. And his acceleration is certainly from hell!

Klose ist nicht das beste in der Luft, Drogba ist besser, und auch Henry ist schneller.

Und wenn Sie Spieler in Deutschland reden, ist Pizarro besser in der Luft, und Cacau ist schneller.

yeah he failed to score after the group stages IIRC - Michael Ballack & Ollie Kahn got them all the way to the final on their own pretty much.

The quality players only really show when the shiite opposition are knocked out

I was of course talking only about the Bremen players. Nevertheless, Klose is the best aerial player in the Bundesliga. There can't be any different opinions. Bayern supporters should know that best. It took him only 38 seconds from kickoff to score through a header against them. And Pizarro... pretty good joke. The one with Cacau's even better. Did he even make it to the bench in the last months? The fastest player in the league should be Dortmund's David Odonkor. Quick feet.

And the rest of you shouldn't reduce Klose to his aerial abilities. That's a mistake everybody has been making in the past. Since Klose is playing in Bremen, he is something like "reborn". I've not seen a striker, who was more "complete", in Bremen for years. I even say, that Ailton, who scored 28 goals in 2003/2004, had not Klose's class.

Of course we were lucky. Nevertheless we were - by far - the best team behind Barcelona. Athen's pretty nice in their own stadium, but when they have to play somewhere else, they just suck. And Udinese was not trying to score goals, but only to prevent goals. Nobody likes that kind of football.

they're italians mates. who cares if anyone likes that kind of football (though imo is the best) as long as you win.

I do care. I'm not merely watching soccer to celebrate titles - I want to be entertained. And I think, every Werder fan is having more fun watching his team at the moment than any Bayern fan can possibly have - although Bayern's 8 points ahead. They cannot buy themselves respect for the crap they play every week. It's not all about titles.

You are lucky. As you drew Werder, you have the guarantee for two attractive matches in the round of the last 16.

Odonkor, maybe, but Klose is a joke with a facemask.
