He is for Azzurrini, and can be a great one. His style of play reminds me of Javier Zanetti's, he can sprint fast with the ball, and he is better than Molinaro, so...
I m better than Molinaro too:p
He is much more useful in the midfield, he is not solid as a defender, neither has a super cross or an outstanding sprint, i dont care if they even use him as a keeper now, he is not a defender and making one of him, would be a waste of talent IMO

Gallas wont cost 20m.He'll come cheap.Vidic is the most expensive of the lot,but im sure we can get him for something in the range of 20m.
We tried to sign Gallas when we were mighty and we failed, why would he change his mind now??

Nesta, Mexes, Mertesacker, Coloccini, and........LUCIO!
Mexes and Mertesacker are not better yet, i have a feeling that we wont be allowed to buy them anyway.
Nesta is a fools dream...
Even if i accept the brazilian defender (lol) Lucio is a better player
( Coloccini a better player than Rio??? WTF??? )
, i dont think he is much cheaper and isnt any younger either:angel:

From Rio to Turin

The old lady could secure the services of England and Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand in a sensational move that would cost the Turin club around 20m €. Sir Alex could be keen to sell Ferdinand if Juve general manager Alessio Secco offers Jonathan Zebina in the deal to replace the aging Gary Neville. Sir Alex already has Rio's replacement in Piqué and could also move for Uruguayan defender martin Caceres. Juventus will need to splash the cash if they want to play an important role in next year's champions league and would also need to find a left back to complete the defensive line. Stuttgart's Ludovic Magnin is on Ranieri's list.
Is this your response to me wanting more experienced defenders linked to Juve? :D

Mexes??? I think I play better than Mexes for real. If Mexes plays in Serie A, then I don't know what I'm doing playing with some shitty club.

Which word exactly you consider "over-rated" in that post?

C'mon, admit it, you're just being a smartass, are you not?

They gotta stop mentioning Zebina in any swap deal , the man got injured again after his name appeared in this transfer rumor / deal.

out of all the defenders linked to Juve so far, i think he is the best one, but we should aim for younger players.

phew, i thought i was the only person in this world that thought, not only is rio overrated, he is CRAP! at least he looks decent sometimes cause he plays in england. and his reputation earned from playing for man utd. and england(oh my god! he must be good), but put him to play in serie a, and trust me, we would wish gladstone was still here.

Only Nesta is a better defender out of that list..sure Rio is overrated but he is a top class defender thats undeniable.

Having said that i think 30M is too much for him..not to mention the fact that he's 30..and he'll probably get homesick and wont adapt to playing in another league in another country.
Gallas wont cost 20m.He'll come cheap.Vidic is the most expensive of the lot,but im sure we can get him for something in the range of 20m.
1) Give me one good reason why Man Utd would sell Vidic?

2) Gallas isnt a better defender than Ferdinand

Better than Chiellini?!!!
currently yes..i dont know how good Chielleni will be in 2-3 years time though.

That's debatable. Even if only for Gallas' versatility. He's every manager's dream, being able to reliably slot into any position in the back 4.
fair enough..but Rio has proven over the years he is the better CB..i believe people either completely over rate Ferdinand(man utd fans) or under rate him tremendously(the rest of the world).
