    Fucken Fuglsang. THIS IS DENMARK!

We might get a medal  Not
Tactically it's been spot on so far. Just staying in the back and letting the other riders work. :D If we're reaaally lucky maybe top 5. Just a shame he can't finish.

Spain and Movistar always manage to butcher their own chances.

Movistar is such a joke. If not for Valverde being 100p pure class that team would look liek a bunch of talented clowns.

btw. fuglsang needs to stay clam and perhaps take advantage of his mountain biking skills on the descent.

    wait what never mind

Couldn watch it but great for Majka and Poland.

On the other hand Radwanska should be stripped of her Polish citizenship. This woman is a disgrace.

You guys were so close to winning the whole thing. Majka was alone until 1.5 km from the finish line. A shame he can't win a race that doesn't finish uphill. :D

Whenever i'm watching Hockey i get the feeling the players ruin their back/spinal. That bowed posture can't be healthy, can it?

    Nah, no worries there.

They arent forcing themselves in that position or by adding external weight. They lower themselves in a certain , natural shape. Compare it with an infant squatting entirely down, thats also a natural shape.
Why cant adults ? Flexibility. But these are professional hockey players. Big emphias on muscle conditionning, posture and flexibility. Especially flexibility, so they arent stressing themselves.

Anything done on bodyweight that is not forced and aided by the recommended flexibility training, will be just fine.

Gymnastics ? No, thats an insane stress on the joints. You're done at your early 20ties generally, sometimes before that

That's not true. Van Gelder is 33, Zonderland is 30 (won Olympic Gold aged 26). Btw, male gymnasts do pretty much everything bodyweight and are definitely aided by flexibility training, so your reasoning is weird too.

Women's careers can be very short, but that's also because of the tremendous benefits teenage bodies can have as opposed to fully grown female bodies when it comes to certain moves. Even then you often see women gymnasts aged 25 and over.

And last but not least: infants squatting down is something you can't compare with normal natural human movements of adults. Toddlers have almost no body control and can't even walk properly ffs. Not to mention the fact that they have a different bone structure than adults.

Oh, and low back pain is a common complaint in hockey.
