This is a recent interview gattuso gave by phone to an italian tv show, after Materazzi spoke on television, highlighting for the ninth time the "cleanliness" of their scudetto..

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

the main gist of it is as follows.. "Inter cannot teach us how to behave ourselves. Maybe Moratti has forgotten about the sign of the umbrella (rude sign with hands) which he did during the derby. And maybe he's forgotten about what happened at Valencia. We will not accept lessons from them. Me and Materazzi are friends, but he should just let it drop, he appears to have become Jesus Christ. I can't hear this story anymore, like the Scudetto of the "honest": it's been a year that we and Juventus have to hear this story and in the end we're sick of it because on the pitch we sweated like everyone.

:pint:

I wouldn't go that far :smoke:
Well I never liked Maldini all too much TBH, I feel like he had his career made out for him in Milan, with his Dad and all that. He's a great icon naturally, but I don't know, it's just personal preference from my side I suppose.

It's become pathetic, the way Inter have been playing this whole "aww look at how honest and clean we are" attitude. This whole "holier than thou" effect they're trying to put on is like a little kid in kindergarten who just tattle-tales (spelling?) to the teacher when he sees another kid being naughty. It's so stupid.

It's not like Inter are free of any mishaps, or dodgy incidents whether it's from their hooligan fans (fireworks and scooters anybody?) or fake passports such as Recoba incident.

The worst part is when new comers join and parade that "honesty" bullshit, like Figo. Who the hell is Figo to sit there and rant about how great Inter's achievement is when he wasn't even involved in Calcio during the 1990s?! He's like a f*cking parrot, and is just repeating whatever Moratti says.

This coming from a player who was a CULT hero at a great club like Barcelona, that joined Real Madrid. What nerve

I agree with the above comments in the first post. Enough of this crap. As they say in Italian, BASTA!

you guys and your love for the team and history and passion and loyalty, make me laugh
Yes I know, we all live in a world where man does what is in his best interests, doesn't take an Einstein to figure that out.

But the problem is, he was already at a world class club. He didn't "desperately" need the switch to Real Madrid. :disagree:

Well this isn't a thread about Figo..my rant was basically at the Moratti's and his gay followers. :pumpkin:
