..

Franschesco Coco played a year with milan and Barca, where he didnt impress really with any of them, and then joined Inter. i cant think of any other player who failed to impress at these clubs.

Albertini? :cheesy:

Nobody has figured it out yet.

Rivaldo certainly did not fail to impress, and Coco is not a trequarista as Ramin stated above.

Also, stop thinking about drugs. This player did not do any as far as I know. Think harder.

Ahh Dugarry sounds about right. He was so heavily criticised for being in the WC98 squad.

The only other player I could think of who played in both Spain and Italy, then returned to his homeland was Zamorano, but he wasn't exactly a slouch at the teams he played for

CHRISTOPHE DUGARRY
Jeez took you long enough Libero.

Indeed, Christophe Dugarry. He played seasons in both Milan and Barcelona, however he returned to France because he did not impress. Dugarry was labled by pundits as a player with no real strengths, only being flashy, and should not have been included in the French National Team over the years. He had a nack for getting hit in the nose, and in one match with the NT he had to have his nose plugged up. The "Good kings spend the night in jail" clue was in reference to Dr. King's Civil Rights campaign in which he had to spend time in Birmingham, Alabama's city jail. Dugarry played for Birmingham City in the tail-end of his career. Didn't think many people would have figured out that clue.

You're up Libero.

But Dugarry was mainly used as a striker in Milan and Barcelona , so your clues were misleading, as at no time was he an attacking midfielder for those clubs but i do like the Birmingham bit, very clever
