In my second year at Juve I decided Toros title fate, Firstly To their joy but ultimately I broke all Granata hearts, unfortunately to my own cost of being banned for life from playing football.

However, "justice" was served 2 years later and I made a successful career at Inter and went on to lift the world cup for my country.

Lets solve this one from shadowfax first. Ignore any others until this one is solved. the person who solves the riddle shall make up the next one.

Youri Djorkaeff

that's tough? :D

Common Andy, you practically spelled out his name with the last two lines of your description.

My trademark bicycle kick was pictured on Internazionale's 1998 season ticket.

I was seen as a brilliant foil to Ronaldo at Inter.

I played a few seasons in England "wandering" around at the Reebok with Bolton.

I just signed a contract with MLS to play for the NY/NJ Metrostars.

Indeed, I am Youri Djorkaeff. What a brilliant player I am...

Yeah Majed I forgot about you. I though my other descriptions were difficult, so I put his new contract info in there to give a hint. I forgot there was somebody in here that actually follows the MLS besides me. :D

The "looking for something" clue, I knew that would give it away much like pecker's last line. Good job. :D

How many players have won the world cup for Italy and played for both Inter and Torino? That should narrow it down a bit. Then that ban should clear it up I would think.

Dive into your archives of Italian soccer the past 50 years. :D

Paul probably worked on that one for about a week to make it impossible to guess. I would imagine some vague connection that only a true ultra would know the answer to.

You know how it is.

It doesn't say whether the player is Italian or not.

Unfortunatley I left my Football Encyclopedia in Italy, and there's little hope that the locals can help me with this:groan:
