Not very encouraging as it means there’s probably many other teams that are showing an interest in him, so as expected Bologna are trying to milk as much as possible out of it, however i still believe we got an advantage if the player really pushes to join us and the fact that including counterparts would be in everyone’s favor given the sell-on fee they got to deal with too.

I’ve been listening just now to the GJustJuve live from last night and according to the rumors he’s been reading it seems that it won’t be that simple to include counterparts in this deal as a means to reduce the sell-on clause to Basel because they supposedly have a counter clause that prevents them from being easily bypassed via a lower transfer fee + player swaps which complicates the affair and is why Bologna are pushing for something close to €50M for Calafiori, which is far from the €30M we were willing to offer.

That’d be ideal, but as mentioned before it does seem that it will be slightly more complicated than initially thought to conclude this one, we’ll see how it goes.
