I really wish this hadn't been put online, or have garnered this much attention. All you do when you put videos like this up or spread them around is give the person the platform they are craving. The way i've seen some people behave in responce to this is as if racism is a new thing unique to this woman. The way to deal with racism is face on. When you hear someone say something stupid deal with it there and then and stop it from gaining attention.

This does nothing to convince the anti racists that they should be anti racist, it just gives the racists out there a platform to support there disgusting ideologies. "she's just saying what we're all thinking" etc.

What makes it worse is that this will now be covered in the newspapers and on television news, getting even more exposure.

I still can't understand how it suggests that one has to be shameful to be a Brit. What a Brit does is totally irrelevant to how good or bad you or the other Brits are.

I really disagree with this woman's beliefs. But taking her child? No way, not for that.

She quite clearly has some issues, and whilst causing a disturbance like that on public transport and racially abusing other passengers is horrible etc.etc., arresting her or any criminal conviction would not do any good...just as much as broadcasting this video wont do any good. She needs help with whatever had caused her to feel like that and not to be criminalised.

That video shouldn't have been put on youtube and shouldn't be getting the attention is it. The only purpose this whole thing is serving is to give another mouthpiece to racism into the public sphere which isn't needed. Watching that video wont make someone who is anti-racist more anti-racist, but it gives the opportunity for the apathetic and those that adhere to racism a chance to hear a horrible attack on innocent bystanders. I wouldn't be suprised if this now results in more verbal assaults on ethnic minorities.

I don't need to see that video to know that there are racist idiots in the country and neither does anyone else.
