So why did they wait so long to act on this and why didn't they find another LB in the process?
Because there weren't any offers earlier in the summer?

Because there wasn't money if Ziegler wasn't moved on?

Because they are content to go along with De Ceglie and Grosso?

I think it was something that Marotta was ignoring. Lets not ignore the fact that when he was questioned about it he made it look like it will all be fine. Marotta is the one who deals with the buying and selling. Conte made it known, but Marotta learned to ignore this as he was trying to capture andreolli and the likes. We all know there were problems a while ago, but no action can be taken transfer here without the man marotta.

Absolute incompetence from Conte+Marotta.
If you don't rate player, you can sell him, it's ok.
But you should do this not after transfer windows is closed. :sergio:

Also I think it's clear for everyone, except Conte, that Ziegler was our best LB. :sergio:

Im going to zip and trust conte's decision here. I dont like what I saw, a player in this depleted position going out without a replacement. However I can only hope and if it goes wrong, then bye bye conte, because marotta is so staying!

I think PDC is better than Ziegler, with a lot more potential as well.

But Ziegler > Grosso IMO, and that's where we fail big time.

We got him on a Bosman he was always worth very little. What's worrying is our depth at LB. But hey, apparently the fullback position is unimportant.

That move downgrades our mercato from 4 to 6, as we have to improve our defense and secure our primary targets (needs)
Its also yet another step to promote the cursed Ital-Juve project.

Although i was the only member bashing Zeglier were the rest of you were cheering, to lose him now is an incredibly stupid decision that will have consequences...

Legend, my ass. Always in our hearts, fuck off, he is rubbish & certainly won't be missed. Who's been giving you estrogen shots?

Yeah right, i was one of many members that weren't impressed with his arrival at all. He was shit at Tottenham, he was shit at Wigan, i've seen enough of him to say i won't lose any sleep over his departure.
