Renato Veiga's adventure at Juventus seems to be coming to an end. Arrived on loan from Chelsea, the young Portuguese centre-back is unlikely to remain in Turin next season. There are no plans for any contact between the two clubs to extend his stay in Italy. [La Stampa]

Really unconvinced by him.

Seems lazy too. There was one point he got caught up in the Roma half and was one of the last players back to defend the counter. For someone who celebrates tackles, you'd expect a bit more determination to recover the situation.

Throughout his time here he’s had some good moments and can even be flashy at times but overall he still seems raw and has lapses in focus while trying to do too much and overplay his cards, otherwise i do think he has lots of potential to grow though and wouldn’t give up on him if there’s a chance to keep for a reasonable fee because he can contribute here while further developing and holding decent resell value for a long time as well.

The last few weeks he looked worser than Kelly tbh - he had some good games here but also some really bad ones. Not really convinced by him

This is not a place where young talent develops and thrives. Even old players dont.

that's what you might eventually get with dry loans

on the long run he might become the best player of our current bunch of cb's (cats, lulu, smelly and veiga). but if he's really unlikely to stay then it's a bit harder to motivate him
It's all about mismanagement and lack of proper perspective for the development of talent and young players. We had the same profile as CB Huijsen , but he was easily offloaded and his talent was ignored.
