Gray - all Dutch players speak English. Like all Dutch people. Players from the east of the country (like Van Nistelrooy and Makaay) even speak German on top of that.
Yes, Makaay's German is impressive. He speaks Spanish too.

Yeah but only very little compared to English lessons in Holland or Belgium, for example.

Plus, Italy is one of those countries where Movies and TV series are dubbed and the national music scene is very popular. As a result of that - the English language is hardly anywhere to be found in daily life so it's more difficult to learn it.
