Antonio Conte watched his charges overcome Serie D side Tortona Villalvernia 8-1 in Juve’s final workout as a reduced group.
Aside from the eight Bianconeri on duty with Cesare Prandelli’s Azzurri, who returned to Vinovo this morning for a brief warm-down, the remainder of the international contingent will link up with their team-mates tomorrow morning at Juventus Center.
And ahead of their arrival, Conte used the opportunity to hand useful match practice to the remaining first-team group, reinforced by several youngsters from the club’s impressive pool of academy talent.
Quagliarella staked his claim for a starting place against former side Napoli on Saturday night by netting a first-half double, while Pogba and Padoin were also on target as the Bianconeri went into the break with a 4-0 lead.
Bolstered by the introduction of various youth prospects throughout the second half, Juventus continued to swarm forward and ended the game with a convincing 8-1 scoreline.
