I agree with making the stadium smaller. Why have a big stadium if it is never filled up?
i agree too for a smaller stadium too, but not nearly 50% smaller...today we have place for 70000....so if we had a arena with perhaps 50000 and we would just have 40000 it would look nearly sold out....and peoples like us have the possibility to watch games again...so...the project looks already fixed:down:

Another argument in that favor is the fact that a lot of people did not go watch games on the old stadium because it was so damn far away from the field. I guess more people would come to an English-type stadium.

But then, I am sure Juventus has done a lot of research before they finally came up with a certain number of seats after renovation. I mean... they wouldn't just guess the number.

Hell... largest stadium in Baku is 40,000 and it looks pretty small

Yeh, but if we get sold out matches all season....couldn't the club make an expansion to the stadium? Raise the capacity?

new campaign will have 19 home games, iirc. it wouldn't be enough efficiency when only 3-4 games (milan, inter, roma, florence ;) ) are sold out

19 home games just in Serie A. Not to mention here CL and coppa. ;)

Statistics show that with a new stadium...the first 2 seasons will have a huge increase in attendance.......when Juve moved to the Delle Alpi........average attendances rose from 33,000 to 49,000 and 52,000 the next season........

we don't even get a sold out stadium for inter/roma matches.

80% would be a very large crowd compared to the 40% we normally get.
