:surprised:

For me the 90's are rivaled only by the 70's in terms of quality. The whole grunge scene bar Nirvana is faptastic :D.

But yeah, RHCP have made one really good album (Blood Sugar Sex Magik) and one decent (Californication). Everything else is just more of the same, they've become actively untolerable on their past two efforts though :D
You shouldn't be, we've had this conversation before. I like everything up until the 90s.

like most of the bands i used to love, they were once great but have completely lost relevence. they either need to get the drug addictions running rampant again or stop recording because they have completely lost the edge that made them fantastic

I don't really remember discussing music with you, you rarely enter those discussions I get the vibe that you deem it pointless to discuss something based on opinion :D

except the whole thrash scene, nothing really worthwhile happened thurr.
my gauge of how bad the 80's were is this

70's Paul Weller was in The Jam
90's Paul weller released Wild Wood and Stanley Road

80's Paul Weller was in The Style Council................FUCK YOU 1980's

My secret shame is an appreciation of the Style Council.

Yeah, that's pretty much why. And I love the 80s, which is an unpopular opinion.

to make that paper you gots to write that paper
I cracked it, no biggie from here. You know the point where you finish with the factual stuff like analysis and finding references and you have three pages to just splur out any thoughts you might have? I usually consider a paper done by the time I reach discussion and conclusion :D

:agree: I reckon the 90s overall is better than the 70s, but the best 70s bands destroy the best 90s bands.

I liked their bowling alley performance days. Always a bit silly and entertaining, but never among anything I would consider a favorite.

ya after Blood Sugar Sex Magik it pretty much went downhill
True.

Oh, i like that Lithuanian guy Kiedis
Good point for Lietuva there. ;)

Quoted for truth, really.
