Exactly. I've just been in a big rut, I lost a lot of my old files on my last laptop and haven't gotten around to putting my CDs onto this new one, so I've only had the same albums again and again.

Datarock is pretty softcore. Of course, I listen to a lot of irritating music, so my threshold is pretty high.
I actually have a low threshold for some things that are influenced/modern versions of 80s stuff. It just doesn't sound right to me.

We're also here if you want some porn suggestions.
    I don't need those, I have plenty :p

If you like Fleetwood Mac, you should watch Sound City movie (and obviously listen to the album), the whole movie is about a bunch of famous music people doing this tribute album+movie to the recording studio, Stevie Nicks plays quite a part in the whole project.

Thanks! I had not heard of that, and it does sound like I'd really enjoy it.

It takes a few listens to get into it. Ironically enough, the bset song on the album might be the one with Rick Springfield

Thank you, Raz. At first listen, it sounds good :)
If you like the blues, I recommend Gary Clark Jr. But chances are that you probably have it already

I'm not a fan of the blues per se, I don't really have any, so this is new to me :)
