Thats what i usually do when people dump so much awesome music on me. The first really great album of the bunch and i just get stuck on it :D

Exactly. I've just been in a big rut, I lost a lot of my old files on my last laptop and haven't gotten around to putting my CDs onto this new one, so I've only had the same albums again and again.

If you like Fleetwood Mac, you should watch Sound City movie (and obviously listen to the album), the whole movie is about a bunch of famous music people doing this tribute album+movie to the recording studio, Stevie Nicks plays quite a part in the whole project.

Can anyone recommend me something to listen to?

A lot of you know what I like, Genesis, Fleetwood Mac, The Jam, Depeche Mode, motown/60s shit, 80s pop, what have you. Just looking for something new and different...

Likewise if other people are looking for recommendations, fire away.
Eric Bibb and Keb Mo. Both are blues artist, but they are good. Eric is even a positive blues artists :D

It takes a few listens to get into it. Ironically enough, the bset song on the album might be the one with Rick Springfield

If you like the blues, I recommend Gary Clark Jr. But chances are that you probably have it already
