Realistically the best player to get would be Ramos but that isnt happening IMO.

I dont think any other defenders they are willing to sell are better than what we have now.

If Trezeguet does leave, what about Saviola as his replacement? Is he still at the club? With rumours of villa joining (or has he already?) plus huntelaar etc..Saviola probably would like to leave. I doubt he'll cost much.

They play completely different positions and Sneijder's is plenty covered by Diego and Giovinco.
Sneijder is not simply an attacking midfielder, he can play on either wing or in the center of Midfield, he is so adaptable so his position is not taken by diego or gio. Sneijder is pure class

Ramos, realistic?

Lets just say, getting Kaka is more realistic.

There are only two players I'd want from Real. Ronaldo and Kaka.
Ramos? Pepe ?

I'm assuming you wouldn't want either Diarra and Cassillas because you have good players playing in their position, not because they're not good enough, am i right?

http://www.corrieredellosport.it/Notizie/Calcio/71511/Juve-Huntelaar,+affare+possibile

Huntelaar to Juve is the latest rumour. But it's Italy's worst sports newspaper (even worst than Tuttosport) so i believe they're talking out of their ass.
No quotes or anything. Just their theory that Huntelaar will be one of the players Real will sell and since Juve were interested in him in the past and Trez might leave, they see Huntelaar as the perfect replacement.

They say that his price will be between 10-12m eur which Juve can allow to spend on him. His wages are 3m eur per season (less than Trezeguet, who's at 4.5m eur a year)

For sure. But with Iaquinta and Amauri the CF position is alright. Rossi would be able to cover for Del Piero

Del Piero, Rossi, Iaquinta and Amauri would be of more use to us then DP, Trez, IQ and Amauri
I agree. I wonder how Ferrara will handle this, given it is WC year, I'm guessing all of them will want to get enough playing time to get a call from Lippi. DP might not want to start as a sub too much and Iaq will want a lot more playing time, especially after his strong ending last season and that he's having a good time with la Nazionale.

WTF! @ the top bit, Cissokho to Meelan? They've been reading my post, pricks. Anyways, luckily it's Tuttosport.
I'm guessing Tuttosport logs on to the forum, reads some random wishlist posts then translate them to Italian, photoshop a picture of the player and then make a lot of money selling the papers everywhere.

Cissokho to Milan, Zuniga to Udinese, Felipe to Barca, and who might we get? Yes indeed, Grosso or Dossena. We ooze quality and class in defense don't we? I feel for poor Gigi and Chiello.

I rate Buffon as one of, if not the, finest goalkeepers in the galaxy. Chiellini is also of a similar standard in his position, perhaps with more to learn, but still, one of best centrebacks in the world...If Cannavaro is good enough for Lippi to keep him on as our captain and starting centre back at international level, I will agree with him that fabio retains a position at the top of italian defenders.

Yes our full backs are wretched.

but in the middle, we are incredibly strong...And the criscito situation is still not resolved, so we may be down to just Needing a decent right back, or at least an improvement on Grygera, Brazzo, Zebina...

I am sure that Ciro will sort out the flanks. The middle, for next season, is fine. Ariuado can stay and learn from the old boy.

Ramos can be bloody awful and Pepe's insane.

As for Diarra and Cassillas you are right. Cassillas would be a bad move for all parties involved. Of course it's obvious that it would never happen.

I am not disagreeing with you; if you read my post carefully, you will notice that I said I feel for poor Gigi and Chiellini. I was talking strictly about the defense, not the defense and goalkeeping positions. Obviously, Buffon's quality and class were never in doubt and should never be questioned.

As regards Cannavaro, I am still not convinced by him, and if you notice, the Azzurri haven't really been setting the world alight recently with their performances, particularly in defence, where they have been shambolic. As for Lippi still persisting with him, it's obvious Lippi has his favorites and has made some numerous questionable decisions since being recalled to the Azzurri bench. Remember, this is the same Lippi that refuses to call up Cassano :shifty: :snoop: :andyandbarcelona:
