Iaquinta in 2007/08
Nobody liked him. Everybody wanted to see Trez and Del Piero starting. And indeed, Trez and Del Piero played a monster season, but Iaquinta was the best sub one could wish for and his record of 1 G/A in 88 minutes during that season (16 goals/assists in 1413 minutes) is still unmatched by any Juve player in the last 4-5 decades. Even the great Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't beat that.

Wouldn't surprise me if his miss in the world cup final still weighs heavy on him in France.

A different country and environment was probably exactly what he needed to clear his head and start again

Or the fact that he is coming from a big club with high pressure to win. Conceicao probably felt similar coming felt the same but feels relaxed because his dad is feeding him good advice same goes with Thuram, add Kalulu with Milan and Veiga from Chelsea. The rest are midtablers or just from wannabe big (Atalanta and Villa) clubs.

It is clear that this guy's individual brilliance bailed Motta out in the first few games since his arrival. But when honeymoon period is over, his goals will even out and everything is back to normal aka cluelessness.

stop with this experiments, Kolo is our main striker, Dusan can play last 10 minutes when Kolo is tired and the score is safe (lol)
