I just went to the transfer forum, and I notice half the posts are like this:

You get my point. I realize that not everyone speaks English fluently, but that's not what it is about. This is just laziness and unawareness of the "social rules" on a message board. How about banning anyone using "text message" speak, excessive use of smileys or who post short, meaningless posts repeatedly? Not saying we should have a forum Gestapo but if we don't do this, we're all going to hell. int:

At the risk of sounding elitist, we could even have a newbie forum. Those who seem decent after a few posts can given access to the rest of the forum. This newbie forum could have a Juventus section and a Hangout section. I've seen this at other message boards with great success.

Either it would be up to the mods to pick, or there could be a poll. I think it will be pretty obvious to see who's decent and who's not. I'm not saying we should turn the forums into Sparta, but only have a way to filter the shit out.

Like I said, it could work. But there are members like Seven and myself, who are obviously not well liked by everyone, yet obviously are of some "value". A poll would only see idiots take control of the forum, making mods decide would be a better option.
