Don't be so naive
Why ? The papers have linked us with almost every single coach out there in europe and italy. Benitez, prandelli, Deschamps, spalletti, del neri even donadoni for god's sake !!

It is clear that no one (from the journals) really knows who we're going after. Its all paper talk and rumors at this point. Thats why i just don't think that they know if Benitez have turned us down or not at this point. So its still wide open.

ah cmon! 2 ultimatums later, and still as indecisive as a lady boy on their sexuality. screw benitez hope he rots at liverpool or wherever he goes, never liked his lack of personality and class anyways.

NEXT...
Honestly i don't care if Benitez is coming here or not. To me, the most important signings this summer are the directors. Once we hire the right people up there then the future will look much brighter for this club.

sad news if Bettega has got sacked and Blanc and Secco are still here, really ridiculous to do that. Having said that Bettega has hardly had the impact we were hoping for, infict I have no idea what he actually contributes. He's just a fuigurehead and we only brought him in to stifen the protests of the fans..... that worked

Mind you it's 80 million on players that will have to be resigned to no CL football and playing without a top coach. Even Roberto Mancini has admitted that Man City without CL football will be unable to land the huge talents they want.
CL or not you cannot compare Juve to City, Juve is ten levels above City and every player in the world would rather play for us. That's the reason why City didn't bought any real star last season and won't buy this one too.

Looking from the side City looks like toy in hands of the filthy rich child, and sooner or later that child will get bored.

Bettega got fired?
Bettega was sacked?
Not officially, yet.
How come we know it will be official? Somehow I hardly believe that we gonna sack him only after 6 months, it took us longer to sack Ferrara ffs.

Fair enough

I'll wait until our new coach has actually signed and is presented to the media. Then we will know who was right

City bought Toure, Adebayor, Tevez, Viera and Santa Cruz in the last year ... they are some star players. Especially Tevez and Adebayor, I dont think we could have signed them. Money decides everything. Look at Chelsea ... City will be up there as long as they can keep spending. Their future looks alot brighter then ours currently.

I agree that money is key factor, but we saw Kaka's case and he didn't want to move to city. Money can't bring you everything, even Chelsea players weren't all proved, they were on the way to become WC.

Still that wasn't the point, the point was that we are far more attractive team than City when you put money aside.

:hellyes:

Buffon has said City is not a "big" clucb. Tevez really wanted to stay at Man U but was pushed out. The same with Adebayor, Arsenal did not mind getting rid of a troublemaker in the squad. Vieria is not WC any more and was mostly benched in Inter. Even Robinho was very sick of being in RM, so city has purchased many stars, but if you include reject factors they have not snapped in truky world class players yet. Kaka as the best example.

"I belong to Jesus. I guess that is Real > Jesus > Milan > City. No amount of money could have made him come there, and I think several stars feel like that.

I guess they managed to sign Gareth Barry in straight competition with Liverpool, here money was the factor. Only one I can come up with.

Tom Hicks is about to lose Pool, the Rangers and next up will be the Stars.

The talk about the Rangers here is on fire because his creditors are getting screwed big time if MLB acquires the team.

What a fucker that guy turned out to be
