Skrtel is like Chiellini. Agger is alot more composed with the ball. I think there is very little between them.

Do you fully trust Melo or Sissoko to play next to Marchisio? Maybe Melo if he could get himself back in the game and not make easy mistakes. Sissoko I can't trust, he's never going to become good enough with the ball.

Agger could be used as a CB and as a LB as well. for instance if we are leading by 2 we can play him as LB to protect our flanks.

who's better, Skrtel or Agger? I always thought Agger was the more composed one.

Agger is smarter and better with the ball, Skrtel is great at taming forwards. And Skrtel is only as smart as the guy next to him. If he's playing with someone, who can instruct him, he tends to do very well. If, however, his partner (or the keeper) can't organize the defence, Skrtel is a headless chicken. At least that's how our NT conceded most goals, as we have two good markers, but no one with brains.

I'd settle for any of them, oh and Skrtel can play as a LB too. While Agger have a stunning powerful right foot IIRC.

Skrtel at LB? I've never seen him play there, I personally think he's too clumsy to play as a fullback.

Agger is definitely better than Skrtel.

Depends on what you want. As a partner for Chiellini, definitely Agger. Though the idea of having two beasts as CBs is intriguing, to say the least. They would probably concede more goals, but would be much more fun to watch, that's for sure.

Im not saying he's a wonder there but he gets the job done, and he played there on multiple occasions last season as he played RB too

I remember he played RB a couple of times for Pool, never heard he played LB as well, though. Thanks for the info

I doubt that we were going to be able to address all those positions in one off season. We haven't done so in the past 3 years and I don't see it happening this time around
