I watched him play in the LB position in a couple of games last season thought he did play more as a CB and RB. As for the left foot I wasn't sure thats why included the "IIRC" siren.

He's never played left back. Carragher and Agger go there ahead of him, though he has covered for Johnson this season and for Arbeloa last year at the right back position.

Neither is ideal at those outside positions as they are much better in the middle.

Aaron and Curr are right, Skrtel hasn't ever played as leftback. That would be Agger, he's played there in the past few games for Pool.
