WOW, Kuyt and Iaquinta playing together...that's like Twilight Zone shit right there. Good thing there's a Dzeko there to compensate the lack of Iaquinta's and Kuyt's ability to score. Still would rather much not get Kuyt and play Giovinco on Iaq's position and Iaquinta on Kuyt's. Other than that, that team looks too good to be true...and it probably is.
First of all, why bring in Mascherano when we have Sissoko and Melo.
Defense is fine. But why not Gio instead of Iaquinta? Instead of splasging on Mascherano we should splash on Luis Suarez, Di Maria, Hazard - hell even Cassano, just get me something creative and get a coach to pull Melos potential out. Melo is better than Masherano, at least when he plays for Fiorentina and Brazil.
I hate Tuttosport. What a crappy newspaper that is. I don't think they even know the meaning of wingers. Wingers should be players like Robben, Messi, Ribery, Ronaldo, Lennon, Young, Silva, Mata etc etc. Not Kuyt and Iaquinta.
Well the defence is a dream!. Getting Kjær AND Kolarov would be hot!
I dont think we should spend money on Mascherano. Melo-Marshisio is fine.
Use some money on a player like Hazard.. One worldclass winger.

Friday 23 April, 2010
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Juventus have an agreement with Rafael Benitez but everything depends on his contract at Liverpool.
The pink paper has made a lot of the fact Benitez met with his agent Manuel Garcia Quillon at Liverpool's training camp in Madrid yesterday.
Juventus and Quillon have apparently ironed out a contract worth €4.5m a year.
They also managed to get Benitez to accept to reduce his staff from 12 to six personnel.
However, the conclusion of any deal depends on Liverpool's new President Martin Broughton who is currently trying to find a buyer for the club.
The Reds are said to be reluctant to lose Benitez, especially if it comes to him resigning and asking for a golden handshake on his four-year contract worth €16m.
La Gazzetta believes it will take time for the Spanish tactician to extricate himself from his Liverpool contract, but that hasn't stopped Juventus setting a deadline of May 10 to conclude proceedings.
If Benitez can't free himself, Juventus President Jean-Claude Blanc has devised a Plan B whereby Fiorentina boss Cesare Prandelli will be hired.
The Bianconeri have also moved to make Sampdoria's Beppe Marotta their new director of sport.
Well, it's clear that team needs new wingers, but there's also a lot of improved positions, mainly defense and the striker. There's no need for Mascherano, but hey, it's Tuttosport, I don't see why I'm even bothering to read much into that line-up.
i would take ashley young in a heart beat, he is one of the best english talents ive seen in a long while, he certainly impressed me for some years at watford before he joined aston villa. anyhow he's better than most of the crap we use for wingers right now.
lennon has improved over the last year or 2, certainly he has more of an end product to his game now unlike before, but id still take ashley young over him.

i kinda like the idea of iaquinta on the wing, it means we need not splash kuyt. we can buy one great winger and have 4 wingers with different qualities.
