Low chances to see Benitez here, Liverpool is fighting for 4th place and many people are behind Rafa. Maybe not even in June.

Benitez agent denies Juve link Tuesday 26 January, 2010

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rafa Benitez's agent has denied having any contact with Juventus about the prospect of his client leaving Liverpool for Turin.

Manuel Garcia Quillon announced yesterday that Benitez would not be going anywhere immediately, but as for the long-term, he said: “in football you never know.”

His comments have led to feverish speculation about Benitez's future, especially in light of his recent troubles at Anfield.

This morning's Tuttosport led with the headline: 'Juve to Benitez now or in June'.

Asked to clarify his position, Quillon is quoted by the BBC as saying: “I have had no contact with Juventus or with any other Italian club regarding an interest on Rafa.

There have been rumours linking Rafa to Juve, just as there have been reports linking Guus Hiddink to Juve.

“They are all media speculation and there is no truth in it. Rafa has a four-year contract with Liverpool. He feels he has the strength to continue with the team and he is fully focused on guiding Liverpool up the standings,”
    Quillon concluded.

Are we really interested in him or is this more media bull shit like the Guss to juve rumours?

Benitez has won top titles with 2 different teams in 2 different leagues. That is enough to prove the guy is class.

Just let Secco do the buying.

Juve-Prince, that was not CL ;-), and also that was 20(!) years ago. I think he even forget how it's made. Don't think it's an argument any more.
If you mean the name of the championship, then it's not a big deal...
you were talking about titles and not about how they won it...
Anyways, for me Guus > Rafa.

    hope not

I'd rather Benitez picks the players if secco is gonna be around. Atleast he managed to sign class players like Torres, alonso, Reina, Agger, mascherano.

How many of secco's buy's really impressed with us? I'd say sissoko and he's even a Ranieri's pick.

Either ways Secco will do the negotiation part and we'll be screwed with the players over-pricing :wallbang:
