Hmm very interesting posts. Thanks guys.

He seems like he could develop into a WC DM or into a good or very good box-to-box CM with more defensive duties.

Given his characteristics, he'd probably mesh very very well in the absence of Pirlo, adding more defensive solidity to the team.

But I agree with those who say we should go for a more creative player. Juve has a limited budget, and priorities should be targeted first. Getting a good LB/LWB would free Asamoah to bring more or less what Nainggolan can offer.

So with a LWB/LB we could improve this position and improve the mdifield depth, using Asa as a DM or box to box CM occasionally. The problem is it's pretty hard to find a good player on this position available in the world lately. I haven't followed Porto, but Alex Sandro seems like the best we could get right now. I'd really like to see Juve go for him. I'd rather see 15M spent on him than in Nainggolan. I don't know if Porto would deal him for this price though.

I agree we need some AM option from the bench. An offensive minded player, creative, who can give something different to the team. We don't have that option in the bench. Giaccherini was the closest to this.

With Nainggolan we'll have amazing options for the DM/CM position, but limited options in the offensive end - lacking one winger/creative AM, and also a natural born LB/LWB.

We have a lot of players of his style in our team, including Asamoah who is a an amazing central midfielder and Conte should really stop messing around with him on the wing. I wish we could have gone for somebody like Hernanes or even Lucas Moura. We need more offensive creativity from further down the pitch. We have no wingers so having someone who can create from midfield would be crucial.

Asamoah going to CM is obviously not the issue. It's who replaces him at LWB

He's by far our best LWB, and there are almost no wing-backs out there that are available and a definitive upgrade on Asa. So whilst Asa might be a great midfielder, we risk messing our left flank up completely.

If Juventus qualify tonight they'll purchase Radja.

Cagliari willing to accept a loan with a forced redemption set at 16 million, the player wants to go to Juventus.

Meh signing. Price is too much for my taste. He could be alright but I don't think he's near Vidal or Pogba really.

I really like Radja and want him here but I feel sorry for Asamoah if we sign him.
I know we differ but I really like Asamoah at LWB and he's a guarenteed starter which I'm sure he's happy with.

Who is though?

However everytime we've played Cagliari, Nainggolan has more than matched our midfield.

He's arguably their best player, leaving in January and we're paying nothing for 6 months.

Considering other midfielders who are worse players went for much more it really isn't a bad price and fair for all involved.

Factor in wages which are reportedly 1.6 million. Tell me of other midfielders who are on the market who have the same traits as Nainggolan for a less price?
