why are you assuming he hasn't watched him before?
4-3-2-1 with berardi and tevez behind llorente, a defensive strong midfield (vidal - marchisio - pogba, subs radja - jorginho - asa) and offensive fullbacks (on the right licht, isla and caceres, the other maybe murru but i never watched him so i dont know him). thats a pretty good formation
because he said so.

why else would we want him
do we? not seen anything concrete. if anything D'ambrosio links seem stronger

17 mill for someone who will effectively be a bench player is just sad
For now. No guarantee that Pirlo gets his contract renewed.

With that being said, Nainggolan could see sufficient time this season, and keep the main three midfielders fresh. He has some different characteristics to the other midfieldersw as well.

A few guys reporting it on VS.

Matri style deal.
Those wages are attractive. The fee, not so much.

I think that's really a lot of money, despite of inflated market 17mln for a player of his name is kinda a lot to me. Acceptable wages, though.

Nainggolan - Vidal - Pogba would be amazing to have. With new wingbacks we'd have a hell of a midfield. Reminds me of Dortmund middle without a real regista.

However, I don't want to ditch Pirlo just yet simply because he's great.

I think that what you have here is an inflated fee for a trade off of modest wages, as far as the budget is concerned.

But this is the part of the statement that I wanted to concentrate on. Call me crazy, but I think that one of the reasons why Conte is not looking for more offensive wingbacks are due to the fact that both Asa and Licht are so good defensivley, it truly gives the likes of Pogba and Pirlo the freedom to do whatever they wish in the center of the pitch. Asa and Licht are not only lockdown defenders on the wing, but they also both drift in towards the middle to assist, and I feel that this quality is a tradeoff that Conte is willing to deal with for the time being. Now, a Nainggolan type of player could very well allow Conte to use and therefore pursue more offensive types of wingbacks.

I think people are underestimating how much playing time Radja could get at Juve

With both he and Marchisio on the bench, our midfielders will no longer be over played or worn out. Obviously we haven't rotated them too often in the last two seasons, because there were very limited options in terms of quality depth. I'm sure if we buy Radja, Conte will rotate our midfield accordingly and give everybody sufficient time.

As for moving Asa to CM and playing Peluso at LWB, like somebody already said, Asamoah at LWB and Radja at CM is better anyway. Even though Peluso is Ok, he's a red card waiting to happen. He gets a yellow card (A pretty dangerous one at that) very quickly and then he is a risk for most of the game. Especially in European football one or two of his late 'all or nothing' challenges would see him sent off without hesitation from the refferee.

Come home Radja :agree:

I like Radja a lot and signing him would be great. The fee is a bit high, but Cellino is a stone cold businessman and most his stars were sold for big bucks.

Fucking great if he comes, even for 17m. Wonder how marchisio will feel about this. Considering his statements last summer and his rank in the team now, i would not be suprised if he left in the summer.
