Nainggolan denies Juve rumour

Radja Nainggolan has taken to Twitter to deny rumours that he will make a move to Juventus.
The Cagliari man has been heavily linked with a switch away from the Isolani in recent months, with the Bianconeri and Inter both interested.
A story emerged earlier on Monday that the Belgium international had been spotted in Turin looking at houses, but the midfielder has insisted that is not the case.
“I’m not looking at any homes in Turin,” he posted on the social network. “I am in Cagliari. A day of rest."

i have changed my mind on nannigolan
it's not that i doubt his abilities, it's just that i would prefer to go for someone more creative in the midfield to give the team more tactical options.
I can't really think of anyone besides going for some unkonwn youngsters. Hernanes would be nice given his drop in form and contract issues. not sure is selll lazio

I obviously don't follow Cagliarli, but I tend to follow other big teams in italy so I've seen him a fair few times whenever they happen to be playing Cagliarli.
People who do follow him can disagree if they want but he reminds me of Vidal in some aspects
If I had to pick a player who would be our sort of 'back up Vidal' (Within reason) it would be Nainggolan.

He is a dynamic player, not one who just sits infront of defence and destroys, has a decent overall skillset for a CM, but he is primarly a defensive minded player (offensive contributions are fairly modest), it wouldnt hurt if we got a more versatile and attack capable player IMO. But if we are looking solely for an alternative to strenghten the mid in strenght and hustling, he is a good choice to get.
Box-to-box midfielder.
- Physically; can get around the pitch, good stamina, physically strong for his height
- Technically; good short passing range, average longer pass, above average control and direct runner, average but powerful shot
- Mentally; very determined, fighter, seems to show up better against the bigger teams, in my experience
Without his mobility and strength with the ball at his feet he'd probably be pigeon-holed as a DM destroyer type, but his attributes make him pretty versatile. Of all the current Juve midfielders he is most similar to Vidal.

Pretty much, but he would be much more needed type of player to get, if we didnt have 3-4 CMs with in the same ballpark in terms of skillset, with yes Vidal being closests, but all around CMs is basically what Marchisio, Asa and Pogba bring to the table too. With Marchisio being physically weaker, but more technically refined, and Vidal and Pogba alot more capable and explosive in attacking sense then Radja is. Pretty much has similar limitations as Asamoah does though (mobile and energetic mofos, that arent that great with the ball or creating plays).

Cagliari generally play him on the side of the diamond, where he has generally plays as an aggressive box-to-box player, though he'll play a much more disciplined game against the big sides (I've seen him play deep in front of the defence and even as a trequartista in an emergency). Think he's playing in a slightly more disciplined fashion this season since he's got Murru pushing up from left back.
The easiest comparison to make would be to Vidal, but without the same ability to make the difference in the attacking third of the pitch. Similar determination, aggression, stamina, ball winning ability.
I'd suggest his general passing ability is probably also comparable to Vidal's, in general, but he doesn't have the vision that Vidal does to make the occasional really incisive pass.
Not a dribbler, but pretty solid technically and good enough at positioning his body that he is hard to dispossess.
Always seemed a pretty intelligent player to me. Playing on the side of the diamond you have to adpat to all sort of different roles depending on who you are playing and the state of the game and he's always looked good regardless of whether he's pushing up aggressively or if he's almost playing as a second defensive midfielder. Good at judging when to go and press aggressively and when to hold position.
He's just one of those players that - pretty much from the first time I saw him - I thought he was a player who knew what he was doing. And he's developed since then, of course - less silly fouls, better decision making.
Haven't seen enough of him playing deep in front of the defence to know if he'd be suitable for Juve in that position or if he'd be big too aggressive and too inclined to press instead of holding back.
As much as 18m sounds a lot - and I think it is a little more than he's really worth - he just seems to be a player that Conte could turn from a good player with a lot of potential into an really excellent player. I suspect he'd end up feeling like one that got away in a couple of years of Juve don't sign him, even if you can argue about whether it's really an essential signing for Juve right now.

We have a lot of players of his style in our team, including Asamoah who is a an amazing central midfielder and Conte should really stop messing around with him on the wing. I wish we could have gone for somebody like Hernanes or even Lucas Moura. We need more offensive creativity from further down the pitch. We have no wingers so having someone who can create from midfield would be crucial.
