Steve Saunders, 63, of Perth Amboy, finds the head of Timmy Burke after it crashed through his home window on September 11th, 2001. Burke was a window washer at the World Trade Center. Saunders is an elementary school teacher.

Oh shit, I didn't know the head made it all the way to Perth Amboy.

Todd's head smashed through the back window of Moses Sternberg's 1974 Chevy Impala in South Amboy. Last I heard, Moses was claiming Half a Million in damages.

Who is Moses going to file against? :lol2:

It's amazing that their heads flew over the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and people reportedly saw the heads hovering over the bridge minutes after the plane hit the South Tower. It's even more amazing that the heads reached Perth Amboy.

Those are some magical heads. RIP.

The thought that they hovered is a myth....that's the only unrealistic part of the story...
I don't think it's a myth. Several onlookers from Coney Island saw the heads hovering for minutes. It's been well documented.

But that's phsically impossible, and the Coney Island crew are a bunch of druggies...
It is possible if there are strong enough eddies in the lower troposphere.

Great Kills, New York (Reuters): The squigi of the late window washer Todd Burke, a victim of the 9/11 attacks, was found in the right hand of Burke six years after the event by NYDOT road crews in Great Kills, Staten Island. The window washing device was covered in platinum and given to the Burke family. The arm of Todd Burke was immediately taken to Ground Zero and placed on a stick in commemoration.

I'm not a Republican, but it really should have been Mayor Guiliani presenting that Platinum Squigi to the Burke's, finally bringing some semblance of closure to a lot of people. RIP.

    It's on the mantle...

But my dad is suing the bastards that wouldn't allow us to keep the arm after it was on display.
