Tbh if I was Licht i'd be wanting a big pay rise now

He's a great player and he's close to the age where he has to call it quits. In his entire career he's been earning less than half as much as absolutely useless bench players with half of his talent. So yeah i'd be looking to get mega cash behind me for retirement, even if it meant playing in an obscure league.

He turns 31 at the start of next year. Has only 1 year left on his contract if I am not mistaken? Relies heavily on speed and endurance in his position which will be impacted as he starts to get older.

As important as he is, if the right offer was there we probably should take it. I'm all for Caceres at right back, I think he can be a very good player if given consistent playing time. With Romulo joining as well we get cover.

Ideally I would have liked Darmian as our long term right back replacement but that is not going to happen.

no sense selling when we dont know how our other RB options will turn out

if he must be sold it will be in winter..which is risky if he doesnt renew before that

so will depend on how much faith the coach has in him at RB...the coach, not us

we all know that change in coach often switches up the hierachy and pecking order which the precipitates player transfers out of the club
If we sell in Winter we'd get considerably less then if we did now. Now clubs no we can accept terms if we want too and know the player would like to stay at Juve so we have the stronger position in terms of negotiation power. In Winter we are dead in the water and have to bow down and accept low ball offers knowing we will lose him for free otherwise. SO if we are going to sell sell now not wait till Winter. IMO that be completely stupid if we do not intend to extend his contract

It will be strange to see Juve lining up without licht.I always pictured him,Vidal and Pirlo as the protagonists of our resurgence, more than any other. If it's time to move on,then alright, but it would be mighty difficult to get a rb at reasonable prices in this market who drove the team forward like Licht.

I think he will stay but will leave next year as a freebie.. we got the replacement line up like Mark mentioned.

Lets hope we part ways with CL win.

Maybe because Allegri is not interested in our Rbs and LBs supporting anyone, but he want them to defend. Who knows.

I know Licht is better than our other 2 options anyways... but maybe the board is ready to let him go if that means not giving the wages he want.

If it will be a mistake or not,,it will remain to be seen.

There are these links that pop up where you know they will never happen and there are those that pop up that you are damn sure they will happen.
