1st a Nedved replacement doesn't exist.

2nd There's only one guy who will come to fill his roster position and he's with NIKE. ;)

We bought Iaquinta, we don't need Quagliarella. We need another big guy in front. :)
Yes, Nedved is irreplaceable and we do need a big striker to partner Del Piero in case Trezeguet prefers to leave Turin.

Reveal your secrets, man.

:D

We don't need an immature player.
How is he immature, Abed?

“Juve are one of the most important clubs in the world. Who would walk away from that? It would be a wonderful experience.

“Manchester United are also prestigious and I watch the Premiership on television. Perhaps the football is not as competitive as in Italy, but it is very tough physically.

“I say it clearly – I am ready for a big club. I am accustomed to making the most out of my opportunities, so Juve or Manchester would be a great chance for me,” he told the 'Corriere dello Sport.’

Sometime you just gotta take a chance on someone. Like Del Piero back in the day. Quagliarella is a natural.
We have many players that deserve a chance more than him. I think he is not better than Paolucci and Giovinco.

How is he immature, Abed?
He said that about himself in the last Channel 4's article :)

And saying that competition in EPL is not like it in Serie A is an indication of how much he is immature.

Giovinco will truly be great, you are right about that. But he will play his football for Empoli next season. Quagliarella will be one of the true Italian greats, I have no doubts about that, and IMO he should be seriously considered by Juve.

Also, a promising talent like Palladino won't probably have a fair playing time with the presence of Del Piero and Quagliarella. Only Palladino to be Del Piero's substitute would be reasonable and fair.

I've just figured out how immature he is. :D

I think this would be a good buy. Juventus is what he needs for to take that one step forward in becoming a world class player; the same thing we did for Zambrotta when he came from Bari, or for Camoranesi when he came from Verona.

loan palladino out this year, then next year (heaven forbid) del piero decides that he wants to slow down and become a sub palladino could step into his place...i would love:

2007/2008:
Trezeguet - Del Piero - Iaquinta - Quagliarella

2008/2009:
Trezeguet - Palladino - Iaquinta - Quagliarella
Sub: Del Piero

No..that's nonsense. I, and I'm sure other people are tired of these ridiculous loans.

Keep Palladino as a sub and either keep Treze or buy Gilla or Hunter.

Gila has already stated he doesn't want to leave milan, even though they are looking to sign eto'o...plus, if you can get a young, helluva striker for 10 million, why not? ill admit, i haven't seen much of him (i live in the states) but his youtube compilation looks amazing!

I think quagliarella is a gd player and could much better very soon but i think there is an obsession about the idea " young italian player comes to juve , becomes a symbol of juventus , and is considered the best italian player "

i think juve fans just want another del piero , but realistically that probably wont happen too soon , quagliarella , paulucci , palladino , theyre all good but there is probably better talent abroad .
i think juve should get players outside italy who are sure to help juve very soon because juve dont have the luxury to try new and exciting italian talents and hope for the next del piero or baggio.

You can't base your opinion of a player on youtube because otherwise Tiago and Almiron look very ordinary (2 great goals is all I could find of them).

There are morei mportant factors to be taken into account, such as how he fits in the team, what other skills has he got, big stage presence etc. Palladino has already played for Juve and knows the environment better and from what I have seen he is a better all around player than Quagmire.

We do not need to waste money on another striker. We have four very capable ones (if Treze stays).

I think the defense has to be sorted out immediately. You cannot replace people like Canna, Thuram and Zambro with ordinary players. Those three kept the team afloat in more than one occasion. attacking wise if camo and neddy stay we are sorted.

He just said: "I'd walk to Truin for Juve" sounds like a Bianconero indeed :agree:

To me I see that Quagliarella would be a difinite asset in any team he goes to, Piero, Iaquinta, Quagliarella, Palladino and Bojinov would be a fine attack line, but with Trez and Bojinov may be on the way out, Juve has to get at least two strikers to secure themselves
