Zala will be a Livorno player soon, I think.

Next season will be last for Del Pie and ditto, Pavel.

Both will be retained by club as in a non -playing capacity.

We need one new striker and 1 new WORLD CLASS CB

Hey you!!!!:boxing: :boxing: :boxing:
Don't talk about Alex like he's 37. Who was the topscorer in Serie B this season? ?I'm sure his magic will fix another scudetto for us. Alex will be very happy when his beloved Old Lady returns to Serie A and will give his all for a few more years. I'm sure! Wait and see! I also think he can be a starter for a couple of more years. Alex is the heart of JUVENTUS!!!

FORZA ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO!!!!:pint: :pint: :pint: :pint:

No Red Devils bid for Quagliarella yet

Manchester United have not made an approach for Fabio Quagliarella but are interested in the Sampdoria striker, according to his agent.

Reports have linked the 23-year-old with a move to Old Trafford but Quagliarella's agent Silvio Pagliari said no direct contact had been made so far.

Pagliari told the BBC: "I know there's some interest from Manchester United. I'm very proud of it, as he is. But United have had no contact with me or with Sampdoria.

"He'd be keen on playing in England, for sure. We have many things to think of, as many big clubs in Italy too are interested in a player like Fabio.

"We can talk about Inter Milan, Juventus, Manchester United, Chelsea - this is no problem for the player as they are all massive clubs."

Is he not about to be an Udinese player? All the reports speak about whether clubs have been in contact with Samp.

Udinese win 'Quagliagol’ auction

Udinese have secured the full ownership of Fabio Quagliarella after winning their blind auction with Sampdoria.

The clubs had failed to resolve the player’s contract status before the June 20 deadline and presented their bids in sealed envelopes on Wednesday, which were then opened this afternoon.

“I am leaving an important club to join another great one,” said Quagliarella to Radio Radio.

“We mustn’t forget that the Bianconeri were in the Champions League two years ago. I am flattered by the fact that they invested so much on me.”

Whispers suggest that Udinese made a £5m bid for Sampdoria’s 50 per cent stake in the Azzurri man, approximately £600,000 more than Doria offered for the Friuli club’s half.

“I don’t think Udinese will now let me leave – unless they receive a very important offer,” added the 23-year-old.

“Juventus and Roma want me? Now it’s fantasy football, but you can never say never.”

The player’s agent had stated earlier in the day that the former Ascoli man was a target for Manchester United, although the Premiership outfit had yet to contact him.

“I know there is some interest from Manchester United. I am very proud of it, just as he is,” said Silvio Pagliari to BBC Sport.

“However, they have had no contact with me or with Sampdoria. In any case, he would definitely be keen on playing in England.

“I don’t know when Fabio will decide his future. The transfer window is open until August 31 and at the time being we have no preference.

“The first club that shows us they want to sign Quagliarella will be the one we will play for.”

Rumours have led to speculation that Udinese might now cash in on the Italian international, although sporting director Pietro Leonardi declared that he would be going nowhere.

“There are many things that we need to consider,” added Pagliari.

“Many big clubs in Italy are interested in Fabio, like Inter and Juventus, and he would have no problem to play for clubs like Manchester, Chelsea or Arsenal.

“I think something between £10m and £13.5m will be enough to secure the player’s services.”

I don't really understand why everybody is willing to splash out millions for an unproven, hyped up player. We already have promising starlets such as Palladino, Paolucci and Giovinco to nurture. Why on earth can't we just give these guys a chance before wasting more money?

Some people's eyes are bigger than their minds it seems.
