Thought of pursuing my dream as a hotel owner, or anything in tourism but parents say no.

So, I think..I'll end up as a business woman, running a family biz (though I can't see myself as one). Business? oh I hate statistics with a passion... i can safely say i never want a career in banking, finance, accounting or statistics... in contrast, i really like my other 3+1 subjects: marketing theory and practice, managing people and organisations, business law and also national language b.

:lazy:
mybe u should go for something in Management or Marketing. If ur going to manage the family biz

That sucks. I am sorry that you can't do the job that you really want.

Anyway I am your debit and credit gal. I work in accounting. Actually I just got finished dealing with a whole lot of numbers. :p I have a supervisory position and it sucks 'cuz like with all supervisors, people hate you. :p Karma is a bitch.

Hopefully I'll be working on something else soon though. Maybe I.T. or anything less boring than accounting.

Finally, I found someone who hates accounting as much as I do...

I spent 5 years as an accountant, and Thanks God, I left that boring job although i didn't go far away:p

What are you doing now?
As I said, I'm not that far from accounting...

Internal auditing is my new career...

And believe me, if you have a dozen people who hate you because of your job, I have multiples of them because everybody looks to me suspecting that I want him to make a mistake i order to report it...

anyway, me? i left school and started an apprenticeship in building maintenance but didn't like the company very much.
disillusioned i looked for a new career path and since i enjoyed cooking i became a chef(damn good one too) however the unsociable hours and inevitable drinking habit forced me to change direction once again...
have been working in the hospital for nearly 4 years now and just finished a course so am supposed to go to uni to become a nurse but am getting itchy feet as social work pays so much better. why wait 5 years for a wage i could get now?
